What happens after I book a workshop?

A confirmation email reaches you as soon as your booking goes through, and that email is your proof that a seat is held in your name. The joining details, including the address, come separately and closer to your session date, so a quiet inbox in the weeks after booking is the normal sequence rather than a sign that something has gone wrong.

If the confirmation hasn't arrived within 24 hours, check your spam folder first, then email us at hello@hampdenwatch.com with the name the booking was made under and the date you booked. We reply within one to two business days and can confirm your seat by hand.

What you pay, and when

A seat is reserved with a 25% deposit at the time of booking. The balance is due 30 days before your session.

Nothing further is due on the day. Your seat covers a full day of guided instruction, the watch you build and take home, breakfast, lunch and refreshments, all tools and materials, and a private tour of the corporate collection. When the address and joining details arrive

We get in touch ahead of your session with the practical information: where to go, how to get in, what time to arrive and how the day runs. That contact comes closer to the date rather than at booking, which is why it isn't in your confirmation.

If your session is coming up and nothing has reached you, write in and we'll send it straight over. If your plans change

Seats are non-refundable, but they're fully transferable at any time and at no charge. If you can't use yours, someone else can take it, and all we need is the name of the person coming instead. That applies to a seat bought as a gift too.

Fourteen or more days before your session, you can reschedule once to any open date, free of charge. Inside fourteen days, a change is no longer free: your payment converts to Hampden credit at 50%, which you can put toward a future session or toward a watch. If a seat goes unused and we hear nothing, it's forfeited. Each session runs with six seats and one instructor for every two guests, so an unannounced absence can't be filled at short notice. If something genuinely serious happens, tell us as early as you can and we'll do what we reasonably can for you.
