What you'll need

• A small flathead tool (spring bar tool, flat screwdriver, or even a clean, sturdy thumbnail)
• A flat surface to work on

1. Locate the clasp

Turn your watch over and look for the adjustable clasp on the Milanese mesh bracelet.

It has a small hinged latch on its underside, and that is what you lift to reposition the clasp.

2. Lift the clasp

Using your tool (or thumbnail):

1. Slide the tool under the small tab on the clasp.
2. Gently lift upward until the clasp pops open.

• It should open with light pressure.
