What happened at the 2025 relaunch?

In 2025, Hampden marked its relaunch with an evening at our West Loop headquarters in Chicago. This article is a recap of that one event, which has already taken place. Nothing described here is a standing offer or a scheduled activity.

Over 300 guests, including collectors, friends, and longtime staff, joined us that night to celebrate the Wein family's watchmaking history and a new chapter led by Joe and Daniel Wein.

An exhibition set up for the evening highlighted four generations of watchmaking, with historic collections, archives, and vintage catalogs on display. Guests were served Chicago classics and cocktails, there was music, and hourly giveaways were drawn from our Centennial collection.

Our showroom opened to the public for the first time that night, and our head watchmaker demonstrated live assembly, giving guests a look at the work behind each timepiece.

The evening closed out Hampden's earlier chapter and opened the current one, which is focused on personalized heirloom watches rooted in Chicago.
