How do I reach a person?
Email hello@hampdenwatch.com. It's the one address that reaches the Hampden team in Chicago, it's read by people rather than answered by a system, and you'll have a reply within one to two business days.
If you're writing to ask whether you're in the right place, you are. There isn't a separate address for design questions, a different one for orders, and another for the workshop. One inbox takes all of it and the message goes to whoever handles that kind of question.
What to include
A first reply is far more useful when it can answer you rather than ask you something back. Where you can, include:
- Your order number, if you already have one
- Which watch it concerns, by name, if there's no order yet
- What you need, in a sentence, and any date it has to happen by
Attachments are fine. If you're sending a design, artwork, a photograph or a scan, put it straight in the email.
What the same address covers
Design and engraving questions, including sending in artwork you've already made. Orders, payments, shipping and address changes. Workshop bookings, dates and logistics. Warranty questions and repairs.
If you're chasing an order that has already been placed, how do I track my order may answer it faster than writing in. If your question is about what's covered on a watch you own, what does the warranty cover sets out the four tiers.
Seeing watches in person
Visits are by appointment, booked at hampdenwatch.com/pages/showroom-appointments. Details of what a visit involves are in can I visit Hampden in person.
If you haven't heard back
Check your spam folder first. Replies often carry attachments, which is exactly what mail filters are cautious about.
If two business days have passed and nothing has arrived, write again to the same address and put your order number, or the date of your workshop session, in the subject line. A second email is not a nuisance. It's the fastest way to get a thread moving, and it tells us something went astray the first time.
