How do I change or cancel my order?

An address change is accepted any time before your order ships. A design change or a cancellation is accepted until you approve your proof. Those are two different requests with two different cutoffs, so they're answered separately below.

Changing your shipping address

Write in any time before the order ships and we'll update it. Send your order number and the full corrected address to hello@hampdenwatch.com, or use the contact form, and you'll get a reply confirming the change within one to two business days.

Changing your design or canceling your order

Both are accepted until you approve your proof. Approval is the cutoff, because approval is what releases the watch into production and the engraving is cut from the design you signed off on. Up to that moment you can revise the design, or cancel the order outright.

The simplest route is to reply to the proof email and say what you want, since that reaches your designer directly. Otherwise write to hello@hampdenwatch.com with your order number and say plainly what you want changed or that you want the order canceled, and we'll reply within one to two business days. An order with no engraving has no proof stage, so ask as early as you can. If the watch has already shipped, treat it as a return instead.

After you've approved the proof

The design is final and the order can't be canceled. Personalized watches are also excluded from returns and exchanges once they're made, so if you're having second thoughts about the order as a whole, raise them before you approve rather than after. The detail is in what is your return policy.
