What is your return policy?

Hampden accepts returns, but eligibility depends on whether your watch was personalized. There are three separate things people usually mean when they ask about returns, so each one is answered below.

1. Returning an unworn, non-personalized watch

Yes, Hampden does accept returns, but only for unworn and non-personalized watches within 2 weeks of receipt.

"Unworn" means the watch comes back in the condition it arrived in. To start a return, contact us with your order number before sending anything back, and we'll confirm the next step.

2. Reporting a defect or a mistake

This applies to every order, personalized or not. If there was a mistake or defect with the final piece you received, contact us within 30 days of delivery. The clock runs from the day the watch reaches you, not the day it left us, and our team will review your case and make it right.

A photograph of the problem alongside your order number is usually the fastest way for us to see what happened.

3. Personalized watches

Personalized watches are not returnable or exchangeable. Each personalized caseback is cut for one person, and nobody else can wear an engraving made for you, so a personalized watch sits outside the return window rather than inside it.

That exclusion is about changing your mind, not about defects. If a personalized watch arrives with an error or a fault, it falls under the reporting route in part 2 above.

Warranty is separate from returns

Returns cover a change of mind or a problem found on arrival. The warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship that show up later.
